ST. PAUL MINOR SEMINARY, KONOOR-KORATTY

St. Paul Province of Heralds of Good News is blessed to have two centers for the minor seminary formation. The first one in the Archdioceese of Tellicherry, and the second but latest one in the Archdiocese of Verapoly. The latest one in the Archdiocese of Verapoly namely St. Paul Minor Seminary came to realization on 28th December 2020. It was the need of the time that paved way to think of a seminary specially for the beginners to be initiated to the Seminary Formation. This seminary is located alongside the Provincialate. St. Paul minor seminary aims at the formation of dedicated, hardworking and saintly missionaries, and for the same purpose it holds 'to walk by faith and spirit of truth' as its motto. It began its maiden academic year in June 2021 with 24 aspirants. Rev. Fr. Chirakkalakath Vipin, Rev. Fr. Manickathan Paulose, Rev. Fr. Kochuparambil Santhosh have been Rectors so far. The seminarians in this seminary are helped to grow in the multi-religious and cultural context of India through spiritual, human, intellectual and pastoral formation programmes. It acknowledges the constant support of the Provincial Administration.
